As a result of being inevitably affected by the force of gravity, tissues of the forehead, eyelids and upper face develop laxity with time, permitting eyebrows to move downwards.
Droopy eyebrows, which is a visible outcome of eyebrow ptosis, may give the face a tired or even angry appearance. Moreover, excessively loose skin in the brow area can block one’s peripheral vision.
There are many different techniques for forehead and eyebrow lifting. However, incisions are usually made at the very top of the forehead, behind the hairline, so that no scars are visible. Eyebrow lift surgeries can also be performed endoscopically to reduce the length of the incision. This procedure is performed using special cameras and instruments.
Mid-face lift surgery is performed to rejuvenate the area between eyes and mouth, including cheeks and cheekbones. Skin in this area begins to sag under the influence of gravity and causes the face to flatten, making it lifeless and old. Plump cheeks and beautiful cheekbones in young people become flat with age.
The purpose of the midface lift surgery is to move the facial muscles and skin, which a surgeon transfers to their natural place. Thus, cheeks become fuller, deep wrinkles around the mouth disappear, and face gets rid of the tired expression. During a mid-face lift, you can rejuvenate the lower eyelids and remove bags under the eyes in one session. Midface lift surgery can also be performed endoscopically.
A facelift, also known as rhytidectomy, is a procedure of facial rejuvenation which reduces the wrinkles that form in the face and neck areas and are caused by the natural ageing process. Time is merciless; fortunately, a facelift can help people who are dissatisfied with their appearance to turn back time.
The surgeon makes incisions along the hairline as well as along the ears. This line is hidden in the ear crease and in the scalp, so the scars are not visible after surgery. Skin is then separated from the facial muscles and pulled to remove the wrinkles and excess facial skin. Deeper facial tissue and fat can be redistributed for better aesthetic results. Afterwards, face is bandaged to minimise swelling and bruising. Patients are usually discharged on the day of the surger In addition to facelift, neck liposuction can be also performed during the same surgery.
If your eyes look tired due to excess skin on the upper eyelids or bags under the eyes, if excess skin obstructs your vision, you should consult a plastic surgeon.
It is very important to be realistic about the results of the operation. This procedure will not reshape your face or remove dark skin under your eyes. This procedure will help you get rid of excess skin on the upper eyelids and bags under the eyes.
Eyelid surgery is usually required for people aged 30-40 years. At this age, if the rest of the face is in good condition, you can rejuvenate only with the help of eyelid aesthetics. To rejuvenate the entire face at an older age, aesthetic eyelid surgery can be performed concurrently with other facelift surgeries.
Lips are part of the face that undoubtedly attracts attention. Juicy and full lips have been considered an indicator of beauty, attractiveness and youth for many years. While full lips are a sign of youth, thinned lips with wrinkles around the edges are a sign of old age.
Professional plastic surgeons have many techniques for lip augmentation and lip reshaping. These operations can be divided into two main groups:
- Lip thickening with fillers.
- Surgical lip reshaping.
The most common surgical method for lip aesthetics is the Kesselring operation. A surgeon removes the skin above the vermilion border of the upper lip or under the vermilion border of the lower lip. The mucous membrane of the lip is slightly everted which leads to augmentation of the vermilion border and the lips volume.
This method gives the best and lasting results. Healing is completed in 2-5 days. This is a simple operation performed under local anesthesia.
Another surgical technique is “The bullhorn” lip lift – enhancement of the vermilion border and reduction of the skin area of the upper lip due to excision of the skin under the nose wings. As a result of the surgery, the distance between the nose and the upper lip is reduced, the upper lip becomes swollen.
“V-Y” is a method mainly used for congenital deformities such as cleft lip and for correcting deformities that occur after lip surgery. “V-Y” plastic allows you to shorten the lips horizontally, that is, create so-called “Cupid’s bow lips”. During surgery, V-shaped incisions are made on the red border, which are then sutured with absorbable suture in a Y-shape.
Otoplasty, or cosmetic ear surgery, is done to change the shape, size or position of the ear. This procedure is often performed when one’s ears are too protruding or are asymmetrical due to development issues, trauma or past surgeries. The main types of otoplasty are ear augmentation (for ears that are underdeveloped), otopexy (pinning back protruding ears) and ear reduction (reshaping and reducing the size of the ear).
The operation can be performed from the age of 6. Thus, children will never face psychological problems due to ear deformities during school years. It can be performed under general anesthesia for children and under local anesthesia for children over 10 years of age. The operation can take from 1.5 to 2 hours. Incisions are made based on the correction needed and can be made either on the back surface or within the inner creases of the ear so are therefore not visible. The patient is discharged home the same day.
A nose job, also known as a rhinoplasty, is a procedure which improves shape and function of the nose, by modifying bone or/and cartilage. Rhinoplasty can enhance aesthetic appearance as well as breathing function.
A rhinoplasty should be considered by patients who are unsatisfied with their nose size, shape or width, or those who have visible humps, wide or asymmetrical nostrils. Rhinoplasty can also help patients with obstructed airways by adjusting a deviated septum, which is a common cause of many breathing problems.
Aesthetic nose surgery can be performed after the completion of its development, that is, after 17-18 years for both sexes.

Breast augmentation is the ideal choice for those who want larger and more attractive breasts. Augmentation mammoplasty is a suitable solution for women whose breasts are poorly developed, asymmetrical, have become smaller after pregnancy or have decreased in size due to other factors. And also for those who think that their breasts are too small.
Breast augmentation operations can be performed from the age of 18. You will spend the day of the operation in the hospital and return to your normal life in a few days. There is nothing to prevent you from walking or doing light work. You can start exercising in the 3rd week and sleep on your chest in the 4th week.
Silicone implants contain gel which does not have liquid consistency. The gel is surrounded by two layers of shell. Nothing happens to an implant when it is squeezed or bumped. However, the outer capsule of an implant may be punctured by a traffic accident or injury. Even in this case, there is nothing to be afraid of, the silicone will not leak, it may just need to be replaced.
Clinical studies have shown that silicone prostheses are not directly related to cancer. Silicone implants are biocompatible, so cases of allergies or rejection by the body are very, very rare. Implants are not a contraindication for pregnancy and breastfeeding. There are no barriers to performing examinations such as ultrasound, MRI and mammography after surgery.
It is a surgical procedure that involves removing excess skin and fat tissue from the breasts to reduce their size and shape an aesthetically pleasing contour.
Large and heavy breasts cause problems such as back and spine pain, bone deformities, rashes or sores under the breasts, and inability to choose the right size clothing.
After the operation, it is enough to spend 1 night in the hospital. 3 days after the operation, you will take a shower and come for an examination, where we will change the bandages. In general, 5 days of rest is enough. After this period, you can return to your daily life.
We recommend wearing a support bra for 3 weeks. After a month, you can go in for light sports and swimming. Although it depends on the technique of the operation, it is usually possible to drive from the 3rd week after the operation.
What is gynecomastia?
Gynecomastia is the abnormal increase in breast tissue due to an imbalance in the hormones estrogen and testosterone. This is a benign tissue growth. Gynecomastia can be unilateral and, in some cases, can affect both breasts. Both breasts can be affected unevenly and reach different sizes.
It is possible to perform the surgery under general anesthesia or under local anesthesia.
The duration of the surgery varies from 45 minutes to 1 hour. Postoperative pain is possible and is relieved by simple pain killers. You should wear a corset day and night for 3 weeks after surgery. Typically, patients can engage in light sports 3 weeks after surgery. However, you need to wait 6 weeks to get down to heavy fitness and sports competition.
There are no relapses after the surgery. However, if you gain 20 kg after the surgery, there will be a slight increase in fat tissue in your breasts.
There is no non-surgical treatment for gynecomastia. It is impossible to reduce breast tissue with drugs and hormones.
Mastopexy is an operation performed to lift the breasts and give them their natural firmness and symmetry. Tissue deformation can occur due to aging, weight gain, pregnancy and breastfeeding.
You may be prescribed a breast lift if:
- Your chest is flatter, elongated than it should have
- The nipples are at the level of the fold under the breast or below it
- Nipples and areolas are directed downward
- You have loose skin and nipples
- One breast seems to be lower than the other
You can shower from the 4th day after the breast lift and return to normal life after 5 days. After this period, you can start work, travel and board the plane. For the first month after the operation, you should not lie on your chest. After the first month, you can do light sports, and after the 6th week you can go swimming.
Tummy tuck or abdominoplasty is a commonly performed surgical procedure to remove excess skin and some excess fat from the abdomen. A surgeon can also perform tightening of the abdominal muscles, which is especially important for patients after weight loss and for women after motherhood. Abdominoplasty and liposuction together give good results.
After the surgery you need to stay in the hospital for 1-2 days. During this period, drains will be installed to prevent fluid accumulation in the abdominal cavity. They will be removed when you leave the hospital.
In the first few days, there will be swelling in the abdominal area, it is important to wear a corset to reduce it.
It is difficult to stand upright after tummy tuck surgery, and it is important to walk without standing upright during the first week. You can take a shower 4 days after the operation. Coughing and sneezing increase intra-abdominal pressure and may worsen pain. Walking for the first 4 weeks will greatly help your recovery.
Light sports can be started from the 6th week, and heavy sports from the 3rd month.
Those who work in the office can return to their work after 10 days. For those who work physically, it is recommended to take a few weeks off.
